North Pocono School District initiated a Continuous Energy Improvement Program in 2015. The program began with an incentive that was offered through PPL Electric Utilities and was overseen by Strategic Energy Group. During the first portion of this program our High School served as the pilot building and exceeded the goals that were established for the building.

The program was rolled out to all of our buildings at the beginning of the 2015-2016 school year and quickly became a success with the formation of student teams, energy contests, and student-staff awareness.

Moving forward, North Pocono will continue utilizing this program along with monitoring our energy usage in all of our buildings.
